Sometimes there are some amazing sunsets in Utah, and if you're lucky, you have a camera on hand. If you're not so lucky, you miss out on some beautiful clouds.  My husband and I had the opportunity to hike Rock Canyon and test drive my new 50mm and 105mm lenses. I love them! Happy late birthday to me!

I've always wanted to do a photo a day challenge, so this month I decided to actually go ahead and do it. Instead of posting to the blog everyday, I chose to focus on my Instagram page. Practice makes perfect regardless of what profession you are in. Whether it's the arts, or in an accounting job, you have to know what you are doing. You are working for the client, and they want perfection. I've been told my entire life, from academic spheres to personal hobbies, that I need to practice, practice, practice. To be honest, there are times when I have ignored this advice. But, I love to practice photography. It's an amazing opportunity to learn about yourself and your subjects.

Recently I participated in a photo challenge for the month of February, and I must admit it's hard to take pictures of a certain theme or idea every single day. I'm a little behind, but it's been a fun and interesting experience for me.
